I was just given Rexulti by my psychiatrist, but have not yet begun taking it. I'm hesitant. I have Treatment Resistant Chronic Major Depression and have tried just about every antidepressant known to man. I was taking 300 mg Bupropion daily, which was doing nothing for me. The last two weeks, they stopped that and had me try Fetzima. That made me feel as if I was going completely insane, and also had a bout of severe chest pain. I won't take that again. So since I was having no bad side effects from the Bupropion, my doctor decided we'd stop the Fetzima, and try adding the Rexulti. I have quite a few medical issues. I have coronary artery disease and vaso spasms, unobstructed, brought on by stress and anxiety, and high blood pressure, which is under control with medication. My psychiatrist has a list of all my current medications, which includes those for my heart and blood pressure conditions, but I'm not sure it's safe for me. I just had my last bout of chest pain three days ago, not ready for another. This is such a new drug.
