Is it safe to take Nortriptyline having sleep apnea?

No, it is not safe at all. With sleep apnea and the usage of a sleeping aid, you stand the chance of not waking up the next morning. NOTHING is worth that risk!!!

I have sleep apnea and I take amitriptyline to help me sleep and I have not had any problems.

Garret; You should see or call the doctor and ask, There are all different ranges of your condition or doctor may Just have you take it at a different time of day. but better being safe.

I have sleep apnea and i take nortriptyline for more than a year. I take 75 mg for the last 2 weeks and since then my headache is worse. for what problem do you take nortriptyline? good luck
