I take 20mg paroxetine daily which works well for me and I would like to continue taking it. I have a lot of inflammatory limb pain which all went away while I was on a 28 day post operation course of Clexane and has returned now the course is finished. I have since discovered this combination could have led to haemorrhage and am seeking a safe alternative.
People’s risk for bleeding varies from person to person. I find that my gums bleed when I have to take Advil frequently on SSRIs. If I’m in a lot of chronic pain, I go to the doc and get a steroid like prednisone to relieve the inflammation. It works VERY well. There’s no OTC anti inflammatory that doesn’t increase bleeding. If you don’t want to go to the doc, call your doc and ask how much advil you can take on this med.
