Didn't know that they both had acetaminophen in them. i get really sleepy when I do.What should I do?
Naproxen doesnt have acetaminophen in it and is unrelated to either oxycodone or acetaminophen other than they are all three pain relievers. Naproxen is an NSAID or non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, Oxycodone/acetaminophen is an opioid combination drug. Oxycodone is the opioid but it is combined with the analgesic acetaminophen for extra pain relief. Naproxen can make some people sleepy and oxycodone is very notorious for sedation. If you want to space them apart, you can but you dont have to. Spacing them apart may make you less sleepy. The oxycodone is likely to cause more sedation than the naproxen.
