The old prescription had the same imprint E 101 but the pill was oval. I can't find any information that this is the same medicine.
JCOOPER1310; AS LONG AS THE NUMBER IS RIGHT THIS IS LISINOPRIL COULD BE MADE BY DIFFERENT OR SAME GENERIC COMPANY. the numbers are the most importaint so the FDA can see what the medication is.The reason the shapes change is the generic company makes them look like the brand name company the oval is brand Zestaril and the round one was the other brand company.Even colors change but if they do always make sure they tell you if still in dought take it back to the pharmacy and have them show you the stock bottle.Here is the copy and paste from our site that shows it as E 101 OVAL E 101 (Lisinopril 10 mg)
