I have a tooth which has a hole/cavity in it, which is not on the top of the teeth but on the side of the tooth (adjacent to the other teeth). Can root canal still be done on this tooth? Because I read that root canal is done by making a hole in the teeth at the top... if we did it to my tooth it would split probably.
Can root canal treatment be peformed on a tooth which has a hole on its side?
