During my last doctor visit with my psychiatrist, she took my blood pressure and heart rate and my heart rate was 122 beats per min. I tried to tell her and my mom the reason why my heart rate was up because they think its the Ritilan that is causing my heart rate to go up, but to be honest... we are sitting in a room for hours filled with other people who are waiting to be seen and are getting agitated, impatient and aggravated. Due to this... I have to go see a freaking cardiologist, and I've been off my Ritilan for almost 4 months now. I don't know what I'm gonna say to my psychiatrist when this cardiologist says that my heart is fine and the increased heart rate is not caused by the Ritilan but by stress.
122 beats per minutes is high but just tell him next time what you think it is. I tried explaining to my doctor that stress was causing issues and that I had to throw up every single morning before work. He didn't believe me at all until I had some ulcers that started to bleed (while I was in hospital for an unrelated issue) They ended up giving me two units of whole blood and then 4 units of albumin. If he had listened it could have been all avoided.
