... Bipolar Disorder
I'm not sure what your question is. I can tell you ritalin worked for my 3 ADD and ADHD sons for years. My only adult son who still needs meds is taking dextroamphetamines. He has never been addicted to them. He's taken other drugs, too. Ritalin LA is an extended release product. It should help you tremendously if you're having trouble focusing and sitting still, etc. You may not start out on the dose that's right for you, but with a little time and some adjusting, you and your Dr. should get it right before too long. Short-acting Ritalin gives you better dosage coverage but has to be taken more often, about every 4 hrs. Ritalin LA will last longer but the same dosage will feel like a little less because it's spread out for longer. There are cheaper generics should you choose to take them. We had no trouble with the quality of the generics.
It doesn't treat the epilepsy or bipolar disorder as far as I know. I suspect you will need separate prescriptions for the other 2 problems. Perhaps your Dr. will find 1 drug for the 2 problems. That would be fortunate. Best of luck! Send me a private message if you want to talk to me about anything related to this topic. I can also ask my 34 yr. old ADHD son your questions.
