I shared my side effects with a girlfriend and she recommended I ask for the prescription that she is taking. I am not concerned with the higher dosage as I have taken that amount before, just wanting more information about the actual drug/hormone differences.
This is really a conversation to have with your healthcare provider. What works well for your friend may not work well for you. You can ask the Dr about the differences between the medications and ask if he/she thinks you might do better on the Norethidrone 1/35. With Microgestin 1/20 Each active tablet contains 1 mg norethindrone acetate and 20 mcg (or 0.02mg) ethinyl estradiol. With the Norethidrone 1/35 each active tab contains 1 mg of norethindrone and 0.035 mg of ethinyl estradiol.
