I am 65 years old female and following a low impact fracture to my wrist in December 2013, I was prescribed Bisphosphonates commencing with alendronate last June. I was troubled by musculoskeletal pain and switched to Risedronate in approximately August 2014. I began to notice about 6 months into the medication that my nails were changing from being strong and healthy to being ridged and flaking/peeling. Otherwise I have not suffered any significant adverse effects. I would be grateful for your comments. I am also taking vitamin D supplements. Jenny Jackson
