Now I am scared to death. I am 62 and my brother had a hip replacement 3 years ago so the doctors think there might be some genetic issue involved. Is the recovery as bad as they say? Is there anything I can do in advance to speed recovery? I have as though I have no one to talk to. Any advice or words of encouragement? franrb
