It's an intense, sharp pain that I feel whenever I try to turn my left palm up and straighten my arm. The pain is so sharp that it leaves me breathless.
This is a called supination of the hand. I know that didn't help the pain much. It might help to know the word when your dr talks to you. You do need a dr, because this can mean an inflammation in your elbow or in the tendons and muscles that cause that action. Meanwhile since its sunday, try some motrin or aleve for the pain and rest the arm.
