... i wonder what sort? I am seeing white spongy discharge. is this normal or indicative of a bigger issue? please advise!
Bacterial vaginitis is a condition caused by of an overgrowth of normal vaginal bacteria.
The main symptoms are vaginal discharge (usually thin and greyish white) and a fishy odour. Examining the discharge under microscope will distinguish if it is anything else eg. Yeast infection or a sexually transmitted disease.
