I have been having a terrible time staying asleep and sometimes falling asleep. I move my legs until I get a comfortable feeling, but then the comfortable feeling goes away within seconds and I have to move again. So throughout the night (and day) I have a constant urge to move my body, I just have allover restlessness. I told my neurologist this (i see him for epilepsy) and without further questions, he diagnosed me with restless legs syndrome and gave me 0.5 mg Klonopin, one pill a night. When I looked it up, my symptoms did not match the symptoms of RLS- I do not feel pain or spiders or shocking feelings. It's just a restless urge to move. Did my neurologist misdiagnose me or does he know something I don't know?
