When I am resting I am fine. When I get up and move around my head starts pounding. Why?

By chance, have you checked your blood pressure after you've been up and around?

No, but it is generally low.

Are your migraines under control at the moment? Some medications can cause changes in blood pressure if you go from sitting to standing too quickly. Although its usually a drop, I suppose it could go higher as well. If you are on medication for your migraine, check with your Dr. and see if the medication may be causing your head pounding.
