I have a repeat prescription for tramadol and wanted to know if I am able to request Zydol (tramadol) from the pharmacy? Zydol is the only brand which eases my chronic pain without side effects.
You can ask your Doctor to write for the brand name Zydol on your script and sign on the line that says dispense as written(DAW), and the pharmacy has no other choice but to fill your script with the brand name Zydol. I had to have my pain management Doctor start writing me scripts for name brand Percocet back in 2013, when all the generics weren't working for me, and I was still in pain. My doctor has written the name brand for me every month since then. I'm sure your doctor will have no problem doing that for you as well, once you explain that the name brand gives you much better pain relief. As long as your script is written for Zydol, and your Doctor signs on the line dispense as written(DAW), you will be given the name brand, and the pharmacy isn't allowed to give you the generic. I hope everything works out well for you, God bless you!
