Depression and anxiety. I'm starting to wonder if I'm always gonna be this way. Is 5 weeks long enough to say"let's try something else"?
Mmei'' Yes as all the others are saying I agree with Remeron it's been around awhile and in 5 weeks you should of have better results by now.could be as much as a dose increase but if i remember right you had trouble with it to start with And i think there are alot better drugs on the market these days that do a much better drug see Remeron is not one of the ones that take the long period of time to get a blood level so what you are getting out of it is it unless they do something or even add a different medication to it... TALK TO YOUR DOCTOR YOU HAVE GONE A LONG TIME WITH NO real positive results it's time to have a serious talk with the doctor and say you can't keep going on like this and feeling the same way you did to start with...
I THINK you we're the one i told to write notes and just hand it to the doctor so you don't get scared and back out of what you want to say make the doctor read it before you start talking that way your point well get across ..Good luck make a appointment and get in as soon as you can... good luck my friend something must change..Chuck1957
I have to agree with all the post..I was on Remeron yrs ago and it did nothing what so ever for my depression and is all it made me do is sleep..and when I woke in the morning I was also very groggy from it something that I hate feeling like... if this med hasn't helped you in this amount of time it is time to think of discussing trying something new with your doctor..good luck and keep us updated..
Remeron really helped me with the anxiety & 20lb weight lose plus insomnia BUT I also gained 30lbs above my normal weight & demanded to be taken off this drug. It's been 3 years & still trying to lose 20lbs after switching to lexapro. My life is far from perfect and still trying to get off all drugs but it's a work in progress. I'm taking it day by day. I need lots of prayers & support.
