This dose for 3 days. After one week at 15mg. What is a good sign it is working for you?
fyi Many of the 4 to 6 weeks are now saying 6 to 8 weeks with the new studies they are doing and when you are at that level and adjustment is made... they are finding that you start to benifit sooner because it is already in your system but in the long run your still best to think 6 to 8 weeks and just thank God that most times it kicks in faster for some of the symptoms..but that is only a drug that you are already at the peak level... that came from my dr and Columbia university mental health drug studies where they do huge testing... Chuck1957 all i ask is relief... just bumped up on effexor by 75mg daily so that is now 300mg q day
Hello Mmei, It usually takes 6-8 weeks to get the full benefit; however, with some antidepressants you may start feeling better in a few weeks. It is an individuale thing. Feel fortunate if you start feeling better in about 2-3 weeks. Also if you're going to get side effects (which most people don't) it will usually happen within the first couple of weeks, but they should subside within that time frame also. A good sign it's working is you'll feel better with sleep and energy, it's nothing that will jump out at you, but very subtle you will start feeling better. You just started the remeron so try to be patient and hang in there... take care and be safe, pamee
