I am 29 years old, in the 1st month of my 1st time pregnancy. suffering sharp headache (between the eyes and the upper end of the nose, in particular), and frequent vomiting.
Your early pregnancy symptoms, vomiting is such fun isn't it? Try ice to that spot on your head. If that doesn't work try heat. Have you taken your blood pressure? Let the dr know if the headache won't go away. Also the vomiting. You have to try to stay hydrated. The best way to do that is to sip ginger ale or ginger tea and it will help the nausea too.
Talk to your Dr about this. If you are prone to hormone related migrains, it could be due to hormone changes in your body triggering headaches. Dont take anything not approved of by your Dr. As Kaismama says, try ice or heat to the painful spot. Be sure to stay hydrated. Each stage of pregnancy has its discomforts and early pregnancy is tiredness, breast tenderness and nausea and for some women, headaches. You do need to check to be sure it isnt elevated blood pressure. High blood pressure can happen during pregnancy. I had no headaches with my first pregnancy which was wonderful because I was having a terrible time with them prior to pregnancy but my second pregnancy, I had them from Day 1 so each pregnancy is different. Yours could also be sinus related. Women can get congestion during pregnancy because of increased blood volume and if you have allergies to boot, this can lead to some pretty severe sinus pressure.
