Hi. I recently had an intentional weight loss of near 14% of my weight in 3 months, ( from 100 kg to 86 kg). I got my blood samples before and after that. My platelets count came down from 174000 to 151000 during this 3 months. My WBC count came down from 6000 to 4500 (normal diff). My RBC count is the same as before, around 5.5. The morphology of all cells are normal. What I am worried about is the reduction in my platelets count which is now near the minimum, although I do not have any symptoms. I tried to find any relationship between induced weight loss and platelet count change,,, useless. Does any body have any idea, please?
