I took my pills to the pharmacy and they said I had no more refills so they said they'd call the Doctor, it's been 2 days since then and I'm getting worried.
Try the pharmacy see if they can give you a few pills until you can get you script filled... I think that is serious enough for them to give you a few. But don't worry if you are taking this med for atrial fibrillation to lower the risk of stroke... If the pharmacy don't help you go to the er... Don't wait too long. I don't know how long you've already been without. God bless you. Bamboos,
Yes, since you are out of Xarelto, you may have an increased risk of forming a clot in your blood. You need to be calling your doctor's office every few hours until the prescription is e-scripted or faxed to the pharmacy and call the pharmacy to confirm that they have received it. It is ridiculous that it has taken more than 2 days for the doctor's office to respond. Too much partying would be my guess.
