... Usually they are Blue. Has anyone else seen these pills ? I can not fins them on the pill identifier website ? I am wondering/hoping they are the same medicine as I did not open the bottle until I arrived home. Thanks
Yes, it is oxycodone 15 mg. Here is the link:
I remember reading on a site somewhere (I had a question about a pill color once too) that companies can/have the "right" to, change the color and shape of a pill if they want to without changing the content. I do NOT take this particular medication though. I would think it's ok as long as YOUR name and correct medication/dose is on the bottle. But no one will think anything of it if you call your pharmacy and ask just to be sure. I'm pretty positive that if they changed the look of the pill in any way, that you won't be the only person calling. You may even get a response like "Oh yes, we have had a few people call in with this concern, and would like to assure you that the company has changed the color/shape/size (whatever) of this pill, but that it is the same thing you have been getting so please don't be concerned". If it were me, I would call in, it's your health, and you're just protecting yourself.
Hi pippin - If you ever need to question what kind of meds you got... the time to do that is before you leave the pharmacy. I always check my meds... The last time I had two different color of oxycodone in my bottle. They said it was a manufacturer change. No problem. I would assume that is true for you too. Just a different manufacturer because they are always going to go for the cheapest.
