I've tried a lot of antidepressants for my anxiety and none have really had a major effect for me. I really don't want to start taking benzos because I know they're mostly for short term and can be difficult to come off. Does anyone know of any other medications I could try or has anyone had success with a certain one?
Sorry aaron; No way can I guess when you have taken many different ones and there are still so many longer than my arm. So you really have to take this up with your doctor or if you are seeing a new doctor make sure you get a list of medications that you have tried. Just so you don't have to go down roads you have gone down before. But don't rule out there are many that people had tried but only a few days not knowing you have to take for a few weeks to get past the side effects then they start to help you. I wish you well and hope you can get in very soon. It is worth it once under control we can get by just as if we have no anxiety disorder or any other type.
