... I did. Does anyone know if the weight will come off soon - while continuing to exercise everyday and eat healthy? Currently I am still experiencing withdrawal symptoms like the brain zaps, emotional roller coaster, fatique, etc. Curious how long withdrawals last and how fast the weight will come off - on average. Thanks!
Hi, if you quit the medication 'cold turkey' then the withdrawals will be worse and last longer... if you tapered you will be over the withdrawal symptoms quicker... generally the first 2 weeks are the worst, then you may experience some prolonged depression or anxiety at a lesser level. You should be able to start losing weight within a few days of stopping. Lexapro has a long half life of 27 - 33 hours, so it will take a maximum of 66 hours to clear your system. Then your metabolism will start working harder
