... anxiety to which when I wake up my heart is beating so fast and my body shaking all over. This is my second night taking it and I already feel better in the morning. I was reading about others concerns of how bad this drug is, now I'm scared to death to take it. Is there anything good about this drug or should I quit now even though it is helping???
I think if it's helping you then continue to take it. These types of medications tends to make some people feel worse before feeling better. I usually takes a few weeks to get the full affect of it. Try to hang in there if you can. If not talk to your doctor about it. I've been on anxiety medicine for about 20 years and sometimes still wake up feeling the same way you do. We're all different so its really up to you to continue or not. I do hope you feel better. Anxiety can be so debilitating.
Time to stop reading the doctor gave you this for your anxiety and panic and it is working thank God for that so many it takes so many different things,This drug is very safe as long as you take it as prescribed Don't worry about what all the things some say and what is in the info.section if it works for you.The real only problem is you just can't stop it you well need to be tapperd off I have taken this medications for over 15 years and don't worry as long as you take it only as prescribed by the doctor. have a great day Chuck1957
JRC; Once again just though of this as far as this medication goes your only taking a low dose and it is working that is really all that matters. You are feeling better now than prior to taking the medication so be glad your doctor picked the medication that seems to be working for you. Just don't take more than prescribed and you won't have problems It's people that abuse the medication that they have to put a lot of stuff into the patient pamphlets that scares us.Please count your blessings that it is working and you have it under control. some are never that lucky.
