for 24 hours. I was on no heartburn meds at the time and as soon as the probe was in place (30 cm) I was heartburn free for the 24 hour period of the test. did anyone experience this? if so do you know why this would occur? I am wanting to know why this would happen, it seemed strange
I recently had a PH study done for acid reflux. a probe was placed in the espohagus via the nose?

I have hiatal hernia and a weak LES valve been taking Prilosec for about 15 years, would really like another option as 2 a day sometimes doesn't do the job. just had an endoscopy done results were good all biopsies negative for barrets although they said over the years that I did test positive for barretts but not in the last 5 years. they keep telling me that it doesn't go away so I don't understand? does anyone know anything about this?
