... Trying to stay away from hydocodone except to sleep. Anyone have experience in finding a comfortable position for sitting, sleeping. Also anyone used a back brace?
You just have to experiment. Find the spot you hag out in most, grab a bunch of pillows, maybe a few different things to put your feet up on (at least one foot just a bit off the floor can help, but alternate which foot a few times an hour).
Best you possible have someone help you with all the pillow switching, if not, just have all your choices near by.
I would decline on the brace because of the restriction of movement, it's nice to have the option to shift, even if it's millimeters. For being vertical however, the brace is a good idea.
Hope this helps..
