assistance with Harvoni treatment? I am researching Gilead and Harnoni, but if I have Part D they won't help. I don't understand how all of you got help. Has anyone been successful who has Part D with Medicare? Does anyone have PCT as well as Hep C? Hep C caused the PCT. Please respond. Thank you.
If you have no insurance or private insurance you can get help from Gilead. When you are on Medicare and have a Part C or Part D plan you cannot receive help directly from Gilead by law. Typically Medicare works out some type of help as part of the drug plan but you would have to talk to a Medicare specialist or a representative at the Plan provider to find out if there is any help. Looking at the plans for my area there are 26 plans that cover the drug. The yearly cost for the drug is between $6,900 and $8,500 depending on the plan you choose for your area.
