I would have to agree. Advise can't really be given until you know which one you want to stop, and really, you might want to give the idea of tapering down a try. For example, 4mg of Klonopin per day is quite a bit. Perhaps you only need to be taking 3 or 2mg. Once you go to the lower level you'd know if the medication is something that you still need or not at 4mg. If you feel fine at 2mg for a while, then maybe try 1mg and stay there for a while. Once again, if you feel fine, then maybe think about stopping the med.
Klonopin however is only one of the two that you've listed, and is a very hard medication to taper as so many people get impatient and want to taper their dosage far to quickly. This can put a person not only into discomfort but also is very dangerous for the body. I'd think something on the lines of tapering one eighth of a mg every ten days. Slow will provide results, fast will cause a relapse and pain.
Anyways as was mentioned before, both of these meds need to be discussed with your doctor prior to stopping anything. If you were to just stop Klonopin cold turkey for example it can cause death. Medications that play with your brain chemistry are items not to be messed with without the guide of a professional.
Hope that this is of some help!
