I started taking 25mg of quet several weeks ago but then started waking at 5am which i can't cope with. so pdoc said double the does but still waking at 5am. Any advice would be great, the quet does seem to help with the anxiety.
I've found that if you accept that you are going to wake up, and stop worrying about it, you can go back to sleep. For years I've awakened at 3:30 many nights, and stressing about it only kept me awake. I've learned now to just accept this is going to happen and to just get a drink of water, go to the bathroom and go back to sleep. Now I have an old dog with an old man's bladder, and he's waking me around 2:30 to go out, lolol.
