Plan B will be absolutely useless after 6 days (3 days really is the limit and if you are fertile then it is still only around 60% effective). That 6 days is more than enough time for conception to occur. Kaismama and LousArk (excellent informed members) would endorse regular birth control. Plan B just doesn't cut it and should really only be used as an emergency contraceptive. At least have some on hand however for situations like this.

If you can get to a doctor or clinic within 5 days, you could have a coil or IUD fitted, or take a different pill called EllaOne (Ulipristal Acetate) which is another emergency contraceptive. I don't know if it's available where you live, so write both names down & ask.
If you choose to have a coil/IUD fitted, it can remain in place as longer term protection.
