Hi everyone. Is milk (i prefer vit. D) a great way to help my medications work best instead of eating food, because i am nausiated most of my day and can not eat without gagging. I hope so. If anyone needs to know what medications i am taking please ask me. #
Hello, you have to make sure that it's ok to eat with your particular medications. On rare occasion it's best to take on an empty stomach. More than likely, your medication will best be absorbed and cause less nausea if you take your medication with food. If you are unable to eat solid food due to gagging then milk is a good alternative if you find that milks just not enough on your tummy then try plain saltines and maybe ginger ale. Bring this to your Drs attention he can perhaps prescribe a medication that goes under your tongue to prevent nausea. It works wonders and it's called Zofran or another medicine to control nausea is Reglan.
