My doctor just prescribed the INDERAL LA 80mg for a tremor i have on my left arm. What exactly does this drug do? Will i have to take it permanently. Does it actually work? Is it safe, what are the side effects. Thanks everyone
Peter; They use this medication for many different things, Like what they are using it for you. I am taking it for migraine prevention and other than the very beginning the only side effect I had was tired to start, but it went away within a week.It has proven itself and is prescribed a lot for many different reason. Blood pressure irregular heart beat, Some types of anxiety the list goes on I have been taking it for at least 20 years in different doses. As far as your condition it is hard to say how long you may have to take it. Not a lot to worry about with this medication but you should have your blood pressure taken from time to time and if you have good blood pressure be careful getting up and down from a laying or sitting position you can get a little dizziness.Chuck1957 You really don't have a lot to worry about with this medication but make sure you take it about the same time each day.
