I am prescribed 2 dilaudid per day but took 6 per day. I realize the drug will show up in an immunoassay at my pain clinic, but can they detect the concentration levels? For instance, though I took 6 per day and am prescribed 2 per day or as needed, will the test pick up that I took more? As of the day of the test I will not have taken any dilaudid for 3 days and the last time I overtook it was 4 days ago? I realize the drug will show up but how does the concentration issue work? How sensitive is the test or has the drug broken down in 4 days so that it is not detectable in terms of concentration just that I took dilaudid? I cannot seem to find information that describes how the test works and what it is capable of picking up
