It has an indentation(line) on the short side of the elipse. There are no i.d. markings on the pill. Tnx

All prescription pills approved by the FDA are required to have imprint codes.
It could be something that has been imported or purchased over the internet, some form of over-the-counter medication, homeopathic remedy or dietary supplement, or something illicit. Unfortunately it is impossible to tell without any other identifying features.
