What do i do, am i pregnant???
Used Plan B Twice - What do i do am i pregnant?
Plan b isnt designed to make you instantly get your period. It is a high dose of hormones that will hopefully suppress ovulation from occuring during the time sperm is active within the reproductive system. It can really, really mess up your regularity for several months especially since you took it twice so close together. I am really not a fan of Plan b because I think it gives a false sense of security and allows couples to be lazy about contraception. It allows thinking along the lines of "oh well, we can have sex now and just take Plan b, we dont need protection" Plan b is NOT birth control and should not be used as birth control! I'm glad to hear that you are going to the clinic to get on the pill and are going to use condoms. If the condom didnt break on the second episode of sex there was no reason to take Plan b that time. Women get wet and lubricated during sex too so of course the condom seemed wet.
If the condom was intact and the ejaculate (come) was visable inside the tip of the condom you were fine! When you go to the clinic be sure that they explain to you how to use condoms and how to use the pill and how it works. Dont leave until every question you can think of is answered. Sit down with your boyfriend ahead of time and write down all the questions about the pill that you can think of and be sure they get answered by a nurse or the Dr. You can expect your periods to be irregular for the next several months. You may get a period, you may not. This doesnt mean you are pregnant for certain but you could be. Plan b doesnt always work. Since you took it right away there is a good chance that it did work. You can have them run a pregnancy test at the clinic or you can wait and see. If your period doesnt come in the next couple of months you should definitely test. If it comes up negative after two missed periods then it means you are not pregnant and it is just the hormones in Plan b messing up your cycle. You will need to wait until you have a period to start the pill so be sure that you use condoms in the meantime. Once you have a period and you start the pill be sure to continue to use condoms each time you have sex for at least the first 7 days minimum. Best is to use condoms for the whole first pack of pills. Dont rely on withdrawal method (your partner removing his penis from the vagina before ejaculation or coming) This is not reliable and is just as risky as doing nothing! Good Luck!
I have the same problem. The same symptoms and discharge. I am sure that by now you know if you are preggers or not but this med will mess your hormones up and take your body through a lot of changes. Please let me know what ended up happening with you please. I need to put my mind at ease as well.
