I have been taking Cozaar (Losartan) for several years. Recently Walgreens changed my prescription to a round white tablet with H H imprinted on it. Under the name is PACK. These tablets differ from the tablets that I have been getting ... the oval blue/green marked 9 3 & 7365 (TEVA). Can anyone give information on who makes these tablets. After taking these tablets for 2 weeks my BP was 90 over 130 and I was experiencing side effects that I never had. My BP with the TEVA brand was 78-82 over 120-140 with no noticable side effects. My insurance will only pay for the lowest cost prescriptions ... and Walgreens has "made a corporate decision" to only supply this brand. These brands are do not produce the same results. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Your Losartan pill should be imprinted HH 112 for a 50mg dose.

It has been approved by the FDA, and many of our medications are not made in the US, so don't be concerned about that - the FDA regulates this. Your Teva pills were made in Israel.
Different manufacturers put different fillers in the pill and maybe this is what is causing your side effects. I would talk to your doctor again to ensure your medication is OK, otherwise check with your pharmacy to see if they stock any other generic brands as there are quite a few for Losartan.
