I have recently been kicked off of sub because after 2.5 years my doc thinks I am ready to be on no dose. Truth be told this all happened too fast. Is there any other way of getting suboxone without going to a doctor and not illegally purchasing it
landon, sorry no there's not a way for that as it is strictly rx and can only be prescribed by subs trained drs. You did NOT have a good subs dr, find another one. Please go to the suboxone.com website and open the search parameters on the dr locator service on the here to help page, to 100 miles from your home. The fees associated with suboxone do vary, one guy here found a dr who only charged 50 dollars for a visit by opening those parameters up. Drs who are further out tend to charge less. You can do this, just call the drs listed for your area and ask, how much is the induction and how much are the office visits to get a refill, those 2 questions are normal and legitimqte so ask, and if the receptionist is rude, or not helpful, call the next drs number. Purchasing subs, if you could even get it, at an online pharmacy without a prescription IS illegally obtaining it. There is nothing OTC or natural that you can use to make a drug like suboxone. Your only legal choice is to see a licensed Dr trained to prescribe subs like Patti said. If you are having trouble finding a Dr to take you as a patient there must be a reason. If you were messing around and not following the rules at your other Drs it may be difficult for you to find a new Dr willing to take you on. Keep trying addiction specialists. Hopefully you will find someone willing to take you on but you do have to follow the rules. At some point you need to think about being off this drug. For most, it should not be a lifetime thing. It should be a tool to get you clean. It wont be absolutely painless either. Are you getting counseling? The most successful former addicts are the ones who had counseling along with their subs.
