I am on reclipsen and I take my birth control every night but my boyfriend and I were having sex for the second time that day and we are concerned because the second time the condom broke and idk what to do should I continue taking my birth control or should I stop and take the morning after pill???
You don't need a condom so why worry when one breaks? all you're going to do with the morning after pills is screw up your cycle. When you're taking the pill correctly you have less then a 1% risk of pregnancy because you don't ovulate on the pill. When you take the morning after pill all it does is delay ovulation, But you don't ovulate. Its a crutch you girls would do well to stop thinking it was magic.
Birth control pills stop ovulation. If you do not ovulate, you cannot get pregnant, period! Condoms with birth control pills are NOT for contraception, they are for preventing STD's (unless you miss pills and need them for back up but if you take your pill correctly, it is all the birth control you need) If you are sure that you are not going to be exposed to STD's you do not even need to use condoms if you are taking your pills religiously.
