- migraine, pregnancy, sleeping, pill
I have been having severe migraines and trouble sleeping the last little while.. I am 10 weeks pregnant today and a friend gave me a pill told me to take it she cut it into 4 an gave me 1/4 of it and told me it was a perkocet (oxycotton) I obviously never took it but she thinks I did. I'm don't do drugs or drink no of that... I have had minor issues while pregnant before during my pregnancies ...
Will taking this 1/4 pill hurt my baby I had surgery 3yrs ago didn't like how the pills made me feel but it's just a 1/4 of it now and severely just want to sleep so again will it harm my baby
You don't know if it will, and that's why you should not take anything that your obstetrician hasn't told you was ok.
Try a glass of milk before bed, and go to bed at the same time every night.
If it's Oxycontin and you cut it it could cause an OD, it's also illegal to share this stuff, it can be harmful to your fetus and it's not effective for migraines either. Please see your Dr and decline offers from friends who shouldn't be playing Dr, gosh you're responsible for two now.
A hot soak in the tub n a glass of warm milk. A dark room n some easy, comfortable music or sounds of Oceans, storms, wind, even thunder & lighting. Lay back onto your pillows n drift off to sleep and or pick up a good book n read till your eyes get heavy n the sand-man-comes. And if you're experiencing any kind of pain, call your doctor's off to speak to his nurse. She might could suggest something you could take. Our friends could/can have good intentions, but not know the seriousness or severity of it. Most of Our friends are just trying to help n not meaning no harm. Just remember to take nothing, unless instructed/directed by your doctor. I know it's not fun always, when pregnant, but you'll get through it. I've been through it four times n you've been through it... So We do know a little bit. :) Let Us know when the little one arrives? Take care n GB
