I need to lose weight. So I saw a my dietitian today, and this is the third time. But I've been the same weight for several months and this is starting to concern me. Here's what I've done and what I'm doing now:
*Cutting out soda and coffee * Stopped eating friend, greasy foods *Cut out snacks *Drinking three 8 oz bottles of water daily *Trying to increase my physical activity
Great that you want to lose weight, you want a hypo-caloric diet (a lot protein white meat such as fish, chicken, turkey and a lot of salads and veggies). Try to eat small portions during the day, the reason being that you burn a little fat every time you make your organism, you activate your digestive system. And one more thing do not take diet pills, there is no miracle pill as it is marketing trying to sell and make a profit. Exercise aerobics at least 45 minutes 4 times a week or 5, the reason for the 45 min. is that one starts burning fat when you hit the 30 min. mark, so if you can manage 1 hour great, and try to exercise in the mornings because your organism becomes hyperventilated and you will not be able to sleep. You keep on burning fat for at least 1 hour after aerobics.
You can have black coffee. You're doing good, but you do need to drink more water. Like 64 oz a day. And sometimes cutting snacks isn't the answer, planning low calorie snacks in your day can help. Eating frequent small meals is better then 3 larger ones, it speeds up your metabolism.
