Hey so I am 19 years old and I have been through many pregnancy scares. When I was 15 I had an abortion, and I found out I was pregnant again when I was 18, I had a beuatiful baby girl named mya and she will be 1 year old this coming june 2012. I was trying the DR BERESTAIN diet to lose the extra fat in Feb and then I went of birth control end of Feb possibly beginning of march. I had gotten my period the end of feb going into march but have not gotten another one for march if im suppose to and have not gotten one for april.. I am really worried. I have taken 3 hpt and they were all negative and I also went to the clinic and took a pee test which also game negative. I am a bit concerned and need to know what I should do!!!
Females most certainly experience this a few times in their lifetime with period fluctuations, missed periods, late periods, spotty ones and so on... Even if you are the type to be right on time every single month, there are times when I guess the body does not cooperate and put's you through this scare... Now seeing that you have been on birth control and off again that will play a role in the periods being late or eratic, so I would not worry to much... Speak with your ob/gyn and or your local pharmacist and they can explain a little more about the birth control pill and what to expect... again there is a wide variety of birth control out there like so many other medications and each one is different and believe it or not tailored in a sort of way to work with each woman individually and how her system responds... I went off birth control when I was 20 yrs of age and never went back, I have 3 biological children and then a tubal ligation, but in the 6 yrs I was on birth control, I did experience this same symptom. I did not like them and the way they made me feel especially the soreness... Good luck to you and all should be fine. You need to stick with them or get off of them all together and please speak with a med professional when taking those diet supplements, because those diet pills have been known to cause way more damage in the long run for so many people, and you are a lot better off with cardio/and every day workout opposed to some diet programs/pills, they can be harmful...
