"novo" carved on top half of yellow, round tablet and "4" carved on the bottom half with a line between the two halves and nothing on the back side ..was told it is for allergies and not easily purchased in Alberta, Canada but easily purchased in British Columbia apparently. ..need to know if this is truly an allergy pill and what name it goes by. ..or if it is something else
Each round, scored, yellow tablet marked with "novo" over "4" on one side contains chlorpheniramine maleate 4 mg.
Nonmedicinal ingredients: alginic acid, cornstarch, D&C Yellow No. 10, dibasic calcium phosphate, FD&C Yellow No. 6, magnesium stearate, and microcrystalline cellulose.
Chlorpheniramine is used in the treatment of urticaria; allergic reactions; allergic rhinitis; cold symptoms and belongs to the drug class antihistamines.
