I was in a pain management clinic for cervical spinal stenosis. My house was burgarlarized last fall, I have a police report, and recently, I went on a trip with some friends I did not know well, and somebody replaced my 10/325 oxycodone with acetaminophen tablets. (I had the pharmacy check them. I have always been honest and followed my pain contract because I am a rule follower, big time. Maybe I should have lied. They discharged me immediately. My psychiatrist put me on Chlonipine last Wednesday. It has been four days since my last oxycodone. I have not had the horrible symptoms that most mention, but I have not eaten since Tuesday, and I am so weak that I am afraid I will lose my job. I cannot work. I can barely walk my dog. I am feeling a bit suicidal. Can anyone help?
stenosissurvivor; I think you should call your doctor that gave you the Clonazepam and also see if you can get him or her to help you by calling the pain clinic. That doctor could tell you that you are suicidal. don't do anything crazy and you need better friends don't trust anyone when it comes to narcotics Charles 1957 or chuck1957 give it a try tomorrow.
I'm sorry this happened to you and hope you can get back into pain management. I had a friend who took some pills from me also. You don't think that someone would take your pills knowing that you need them. It doesn't really matter how well you know them. This was a good friend of mine who knew my issues and still stole from me. I never keep my whole prescription on me. I put 10 at a time in my pocketbook and hide the rest in a place only my husband knows. I also keep a count of what I have. Unfortunately you can't trust anyone.
