White. ovale.GD on one side. 40 on other side.
Your pill matches the description of GD-Atorvastatin (atorvastatin) 40 mg, a generic version of Lipitor available in Canada.
Description: Each white, elliptical, film-coated tablet, embossed with "40" on one side and "GD" on the other, contains atorvastatin 40 mg.
Did by chances this pill with the imprint "GD" happen to out of the blue show up in some medication that you are already taking and you did not know how it got there?
The reason that I ask, is that up to a few weeks ago. I had no idea what this GD tablet was. I happen to find a couple of these mixed in with some medications and I know for a fact that my pharmacist does not deal with this brand of this particular medication.
