I have been prescribed a new generic percocet can't really read it it begins with a ,then four numbers ..has anybody any information
Actavis started marketing four strengths of generic Percocet in December 2013. The imprint codes all start with A followed by three numbers, but not four as you describe in your post.
The descriptions are below so you may be able to find a match as you mention you were having trouble reading the imprint codes.
Oxycodone and acetaminophen tablets, USP are available as follows:
2.5 mg/325 mg –White to off-white, oval tablets, debossed “A331” on one side and plain on the other side.
5 mg/325 mg – White to off-white, round tablets, debossed “A349” on bisected side and plain on the other side.
7.5 mg/325 mg – White to off-white, capsule-shaped tablets, debossed “A332” on one side and plain on the other side.
10 mg/325 mg – White to off-white, modified capsule-shaped tablets, debossed “A333” on one side and plain on the other side.
