Albuterol is used in the treatment of copd, maintenance; asthma, maintenance; bronchospasm prophylaxis; asthma, acute; copd, acute (and more), and belongs to the drug class adrenergic bronchodilators. Risk cannot be ruled out during pregnancy. Albuterol 4 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
