I found a pill on the floor of the bathroom in a house we are renting. It is small about the size of a baby aspirin, with an 18 or 81 inprinted in black ink. The pill is ivory or pearl color an has a coating on it.
Pill imprint 81 has been identified as Aspirin delayed release 81 mg.
Aspirin is used in the treatment of osteoarthritis; back pain; pain; angina; heart attack (and more), and belongs to the drug classes platelet aggregation inhibitors, salicylates. FDA has not classified the drug for risk during pregnancy.
Aspirin 81 mg is not subject to the Controlled Substances Act.
