I have taken Phentermine on and off for years. The appetite suppressant effect isn't working. I started Qsymia 2 days ago to see if the Topomax part would help. Thus far, the only effect I feel is being tired from the decreased amount of Phentermine. I contemplated trying HCG injections but after reading the potential risk,I chose to try Qsymia. Any comments from experience about the appetite component of qsymia and how long to expect it to take to "kick in" if you will is much appreciated. I'm impressed at all the successes on this site. Thanks in advance to you all!
Hi there! I just asked the same question. Did you have any success on this drug? I am on Contrave and I can't take the side effects anymore (severe motion sickness, flushing and headaches). My Dr tried to put me on Qsymia but I was reluctant since phentermine didn't work for me again at the beginning of this year so I chose Contrave. I am thinking of having my Dr switch me to Qsymia on Friday when I see him. Either that or Belviq but he said he hasn't had good results prescribing it and I know another person that was on it and stopped taking it because it wasn't working.
