I had Nexplanon 3 years. No issues getting it in. No issues healing or during the cycle. But my nightmare started when I had it removed. They had so much trouble getting it out, it was a long procedure. And I felt the whole thing because whatever they used to numb me didn’t work. After having them work on the original rod for 10 minutes trying to get it out, they insert the new one in the same exact spot at the old one. And when they put it in, it telling you, the pain I felt was almost unbearable. I was crying . Are they supposed to do that? Multiple people I’ve talked to about it said no. They should have put it in the other arm if anything.
